Challenge
Südzucker, one of the leading manufacturers of sugar products in Europe, not only sets standards in the food industry, but also in terms of work quality and employee satisfaction. One example of this is the project to modernize its company canteen, which was carried out on a renovation area of 350 m².
The existing canteen, which dated back to the early 1960s and 1970s, required a contemporary redesign in order to meet today's demands for workplace comfort and employee well-being. The challenge was not only to limit the space, but also to create a feel-good atmosphere that clearly stands out from the typical canteen of that era. We developed a concept that not only met the functional requirements, but also created a modern and inviting environment. The focus was on incorporating seating areas for private meetings to provide employees with a space for informal meetings and conversations. The clever use of contemporary materials, color schemes and furniture created a timeless aesthetic that makes the canteen a pleasant retreat for employees.

Realization
The realisation of the project for Südzucker is characterised by innovative solutions and a well thought-out design that meet the company's requirements in every respect. A key element of the project was the integration of sound insulation baffles, which offer both functional protection and represent Südzucker's CI colour. The soundproofing baffles are not only an acoustic element, but also a design highlight that attracts attention and at the same time enriches the canteen with a lively and striking colour accent. This solution not only demonstrates our technical expertise in the field of soundproofing, but also our ability to seamlessly integrate functional aspects into the design. Another key focus of the project was to create an inviting atmosphere by integrating an illuminated counter front. The illuminated counter front contributes to the overall atmosphere by creating a pleasant and modern visual presence. In addition, seating areas have been created to offer employees a place to retreat for breaks and informal meetings. The furnishings and design of these areas reflect the professional and welcoming character that Südzucker wanted to create for its employees. The realisation of the project at Südzucker impressively demonstrates how well thought-out design, technical expertise and the integration of corporate identity can lead to an impressive result. The canteen has not only been functionally optimised, but has also become an appealing space that harmoniously combines the company's values and the needs of its employees.

Südzucker's canteen is characterized by outstanding design highlights that not only optimize the space functionally, but also create an appealing atmosphere. One striking element is the illuminated glass block wall at the front of the counter. This solution, which is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, brings light into the center of the action and gives the room a modern and inviting touch. The lighting penetrating through the glass blocks creates a lively atmosphere that turns the edge area into a visual highlight.
