Challenge

In the course of the modernisation, the pharmacy rooms were to be redesigned by installing a dispensing machine on around 163 sqm. The decisive factor here was that the specified budget had to be adhered to. The visual choice was to be expanded, the goods were to be presented better and more clearly, and the number of cashier's stations was to be increased while at the same time the pharmacy was to be made larger. During the planning phase, it was important to ensure that the pharmacy could be operated reliably with two (customer) entrances and exits, and that the conversion had to be carried out during ongoing operations.

Realization

When placing the vending machine, as close as possible to the sight selection, the existing supports or the local conditions had to be taken into account. Because of this, the room layout was fundamentally rethought and new walls were built in. The individual areas are now clearly divided. In the back office, the installation of the vending machine and the other alterations made it possible to optimise the work processes. The dispensary now offers customers a lot of space. It is clearly structured and very well laid out, so that the customer immediately finds his way around due to the clear presentation of the goods. If you let your gaze wander upwards, the trained eye will notice that suspended LED lights run through the room. The materials used as well as the furniture in a warm brown tone convey an appealing and friendly atmosphere and are therefore perfectly in tune with the name and location of the pharmacy.

Highlights

In the course of the renovation work, the ceiling panel was suspended with a light cove above the sight selection and the manual sales tables. The dispensary is now more spacious, brighter and more clearly arranged. The automated picking machine ensures an automated warehouse and the processes in the back office have been optimised.
