Challenge & vision

The aim of SILLER & LAAR was to connect tradition and good taste at their 500 m² shop. The specialist of household and lifestyle goods wanted to perfectly stage-manage the listed patrician house in the beautiful city Augsburg (Bavaria), and present it up-to-date. The identity of Siller & Laar, which has a company history dating back to 1863, was to be given an inspiring shopping flair, just as one might find in large metropolis of the world.

Realisation

With exceptional attention to detail, the entire first floor of the reratige listed building was analysed beginning with the site measurement, the floor plans, mood boards, detailed furniture planning over 3D visualisation to a tailor-made concept, which was developed together with the customer. Additionally, external specialists of vital architecture pointed important considerations for the planning.

The result is a restrained, high-quality and modern setting for the important product range components "laid table and cooking", in which the most important brands from Rosenthal to Lambert, Riedel, Le Creuset, KitchenAid and many others are reflected.

Highlights

In addition to the consideration of the listed architecture, the high-quality and very functionally equiped showcases were an absolute highlight. These are mainly used for the presentation of exclusive cutlery and kitchen utensils such as high quality scissors and knife sets. The concept in combination with the ceiling surfaces presents the room at its best. In order not to dominate the rooms too much by the shop fitting, a perfect combination of tradition and modernity was created with the defining elements of light wood and anthracite-coloured surfaces. The new LED lighting was perfectly adjusted to the exclusive interior design.
