Challenge & vision
The Kurt Deininger carpentry offers not only individual made-to-measure furniture construction but also interior design elements such as doors, floor or stair coverings in various designs. To enable customers of the highly qualified master craftsman's workshop to experience the products up close, Deininger would like to combine advice and product experience in its own exhibition area. More modern, larger and optimally functional: these were the requirements for the new space of the Swabian craftsman. The main focus was on creative design in terms of planning and lighting concepts, customer journeys and material definition at Bohnacker. The focus was to be on the presentation of parquet, vinyl and laminate flooring in conjunction with various stair coverings. A projecting area was essential for a touch-and-feel experience of the front doors, room doors and all-glass doors.
Realisation
The result is a room atmosphere that invites you to feel good and to linger. Large-format, partly illuminated graphic elements, marked walkways in various material combinations as well as extensively focussed lighting allow customers maximum visibility of the spacious showroom. Modern colours, appealing materials and the possibility of haptic perception of the products combine design with functionality. The presentation areas have been designed in such a way that the products can be easily compared next to each other, removed and replaced when trends change. Cosy consultation table groups, pleasant seating, a play corner for the little ones and separate meeting and staff rooms skilfully round off the Deininger experience.
Highlights
The absolute eye-catcher in the room is a four-dimensional information wall on a building column, which reflects a harmonious overall picture through the combination of a rear wall in anthracite and inscribed glass surfaces. Country house feeling is created by a wall surface in the look of a log storage facility.
