Challenge & assignment
The aim was for the large Intersport city stores to take the next step to become an ingenious sport shopping experience. Based on the Intersport Austria shop concept developed by Franz Wimmer and Alexander Baumberger, a modern, flexible and functional shop design system with many highlight points was to be developed together with the team from Bohnacker Store Solutions.
Realisation
Intersport Winninger opened its 11th location in Vienna-Stadlau in October 2016. Over an area of 3000 m², customers are inspired by exciting worlds of experience in the outdoor, fitness and running domains. The Intersport coaches ensure a high level of service and advisory competence. The complete shop interior was installed within just 8 days.

Highlights
Huge trees made of spruce extend from the ground into the suspended ceiling with its rung-like appearance and achieve perfect long-distance impact and emotionalisation. Wall elements sloping obliquely upwards symbolise Austria's mountain world and set the scene perfectly. Football - Austria's favourite sport, receives an extra large stage. An oversized football, football cage and in a football juggling competition invite participation.
We are amazed about our new hotspot in Stadlau. Werner Schmuck and his team from Bohnacker Store Solutions have once again proven their class.
